IMPACT SPORTS INFORMATION
Impact Sports provides kids with an opportunity to play sports in a fun, positive environment. We value kids learning new skills, trying a new sport and meeting new friends in an active way.
At Impact Sports, our excellent Coaches will teach kids fundamental tangible skills in their sport of choice. This season, kids can register for either soccer or baseball (age dependent). Both include skill-building drills, activities, mini-games, and full-field games. Kids will be split up according to either age or experience level.
Impact Sports was established in 2021 and has had over 130 participants in the last few seasons. Our Coaches are all experienced in their field, having played high level competitive sports themselves and a love for working with kids. Before 2021, Impact Sports was run as a summer day camp called "Camp Edge". Impact Sports is a branch of Impact Life Church here in Red Deer; however, it is open to all families regardless of religious or church affiliation.

Impact Sports will occur Mondays from 6:30 - 7:30 P.M. on the following dates.

WHERE DOES IMPACT SPORTS TAKE PLACE?
Impact Sports takes place at a city field within Red Deer. In the past, we have been at G.W. Smith Elementary, but we will find out from the City soon where we can rent this year.

HOW MUCH DOES IMPACT SPORTS COST?
$55 Early bird pricing (Ends April 10th)
$60 Regular cost (After April 11th)
Registration fee includes field rental, cost of equipment and skilled coaches.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

REGISTRATION DETAILS
Please note that registration must be completed and paid for before your child's spot is secure. Registration fills up fast as there are limited spaces, so please plan accordingly.

WEATHER/CANCELLATION POLICY:
**Please be aware that our fields belong to the City of Red Deer, and our weather policy is in line with that of other outdoor sports organizations that rent their fields.
We follow their protocol regarding air quality, lightning, and inclement weather. The GENERAL weather policy is as follows: Sports will take place rain or shine but will be cancelled under the following conditions: 30 minutes before the start of the program—temperatures under 4 degrees, visible lightning, field floods due to rain, winds over 40 km. If conditions are questionable, you will receive an email 30 minutes before the start time. ​
BASEBALL
GRADES 4 - 7
*Please note that kids will be divided into smaller age groups during the session.
This group will focus on the basics of baseball, learning the rules of the game and an introduction to throwing, catching, and hitting.

We will introduce skills and develop techniques using age-appropriate drills and games.
Please note that this is not a baseball league; however, kids will enjoy being split into teams and playing against each other.

This group will be split into two groups depending on age and experience. ​
SOCCER
AGES 4 - 6
BIRTH YEAR (2019/2020)
*Please note that 4-year-olds will need a parent or guardian nearby who is ready to help if needed. For ages 5-6, parents must remain on the premises.
Introduction to the skills and game of soccer using a variety of fun and age-appropriate games.​
SOCCER
GRADES 1 - 7
*Please note that kids will be divided into smaller age groups during the session.
This group will focus on the basics and fundamentals of soccer, learning the rules of the game and introducing or developing soccer skills.
We will introduce skills and develop techniques using age-appropriate drills and mini-games.
​
Please note that this is not a soccer league. However, kids will enjoy being split into teams and playing against others in the program.​
